NEHA IYENGAR, M.D.
Neha Iyengar, MD is a board certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist who diagnoses and treats medical diseases of the eye and specializes in small incision cataract surgery. Dr. Iyengar prides herself on thoroughly educating and talking with her patients to provide the best possible care. Her patients appreciate her warm, caring personality, and dedication to their best interests. She spent her childhood and college years in the Washington DC area. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY in 2000. She completed her Internship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and her Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Chicago, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science in 2004. Dr. Iyengar has been in private practice since 2004. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and a member of the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She attends several yearly meetings to keep herself up to date on new advancements in technology and treatment protocols. When she is not working, she is busy with her husband and two school-aged children. During her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
LAUREN SAXE, M.D. *
Dr. Lauren Saxe received her medical degree from Boston University Medical School in 1987. She performed her Internship at Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, MA and completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Saxe is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist in private practice since 1992. In her free time, Dr. Saxe enjoys quite the active lifestyle, including yoga, tennis, and skiing. She and her family enjoy traveling. Dr. Saxe and her husband, who works at Dell Computers, are proud parents to daughter, Arielle, who is a college graduate and has recently moved to Philadelphia to work and explore her options in the world of museums. Their son, Jacob, is currently a student at the University of Chicago. Both of their children also lead quite the active lifestyle and even on occasion will join Dr. Saxe for a Yoga class.
DANIEL P. OWENS, M.D. *

Dr. Daniel Owens received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI in 2005. He completed his Internship at Michigan State University and performed his Residency at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL. Dr. Owens then completed a two-year Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Fellowship at Northwestern-McGraw Medical Center, Chicago. Dr. Owens is an attending physician at Edward Hines VA Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Department of Ophthalmology, Maywood, IL. Dr. Owens is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatments for diseases affecting the retina, macula and vitreous. When not in the office, Dr. Owens loves spending time with his wife, Leslie and their two children. He has a passion for golf, and all things related.
LARISSA K. GHADIALI M.D. *
Dr. Larissa K. Ghadiali received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She then performed an internship in internal medicine at Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Medical Center in New York. She returned to New York Medical College to complete a three-year ophthalmology residency program where she served as chief resident. For the final step of her training, she completed a two-year combined fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and neuro-ophthalmology at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ghadiali continues to serve as assistant professor of ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center, where she continues to instruct medical students and residents in the classroom, clinic, and operating room at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA hospital. Dr. Ghadiali is board certified in ophthalmology and practices oculoplastic surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology. Her areas of expertise include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers, and management of dry and allergic eye disease. The surgeries she performs range from repairing droopy eyelids to reconstructing the eyelids after skin tumor excisions. She has published articles in many leading peer-reviewed academic journals including Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Journal of Glaucoma, Documenta Ophthalmologica, Retinal Cases and Brief Reports, and Case Reports in Ophthalmological Medicine. She has presented her research at several national and international conferences and has recently authored multiple book chapters on oculoplastic surgery. In her free time, Dr. Ghadiali enjoys spending time with her two young children and her husband.
ALLISON MORALES, O.D.

Dr. Allison Morales completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University. She then graduated cum laude at the Illinois College of Optometry where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa, Tomb and Key, and Gold Key honor societies. She received her clinical training in contact lenses and pediatrics at the Illinois Eye Institute, ocular disease at the Gordon-Weiss-Schanzlin Vision Institute in California, and low vision rehabilitation at the West Haven VA Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Morales is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Illinois Optometric Association.
This native Chicago suburbanite currently lives in her hometown. However, in her spare time, Dr. Morales enjoys traveling and intends on finishing her quest to visit all fifty states within the next few years.
